Power to the People Summit 2026 - Omaha
Join us for Power to the People Summit 2026 this spring! Raiz has partnered with GPAS to uplift our allies through education and community building at the Hispanic Art Center of Omaha! This event brings together grassroots organizations, NGOs, and community members to learn about and discuss nonpartisan issues affecting Iowa, Nebraska, and tribal nations in the area.

The Power to the People Summit 2026 will feature:
​
Organization Tables: Meet representatives from organizations fighting for LGBTQIA rights, reproductive liberation, women's rights, DEI, and Environmental justice in Iowa and Nebraska. Learn how to get involved in the movement and make informed decisions at home, in the streets and at the polls.
​
Speaker Sessions: Hear experts and activists from various organizations speak on key issues and legislation impacting our communities.
About the Event
Free Food!: We will be having an onsite food truck! Great Plains Action Society is paying for dinner for the first 50 attendees! Register below to reserve your free lunch!

Swag: Take home some fun swag from the organizations, because who doesn't love art, stickers, and cool swag?

Speaking & Tabling Registration
Organizations can register to speak at or table at this event. Lunch will be provided, as will a small travel scholarship if necessary!
