Marie Krebs, BAA (she/her)

Marie Krebs (she/her) was born in Colorado Springs but has lived in Iowa City for most of her life. She is a mother of 3 boys and a grandmother of one grandson. Marie has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Iowa and is currently in her first year working towards her Master of Social Work degree. She is also a commissioner on the Iowa City Ad Hoc Truth and Reconciliation Commission and has volunteered with several nonprofit organizations over the years. Her passion is to move society away from an exploitative economy, which has been forced into every facet of our lives, to a compassionate society that values all life.
